ENGINEERING HISTORY
The heritage of UNIC began nearly
100 years ago, in 1919 in Torino Italy,
when the engineer Mario Levi created
his first coffee machine, the Idrotermica,
a model based on innovative design and
new technology. Nine years later, he es-
tablished the UNIC brand by moving to
the south of France, and opening a manu-
facturing plant in Nice. Four generations
