Tsujiri
The original Tsujiri location opened its doors in Uji, Kyoto
in 1860, towards the end of the Edo period. Their new Ginza Six
store fuses Japanese interior design with modern elegance, offer-
ing green tea, Ginza-only sweets, and even takeaway matcha from
a cafe stand.
The store is located on B2 level and is surrounded by other
treats of Japanese cuisine. One of the things to try here is tea ice
cream, ice cream texture and taste of a real green tea will make
you come back here for more. The other thing to try is “Tsujiri
Miyako Rich Tea Terrine,” a delicious confection of matcha and
white chocolate with pâte de fruits for added zest. In addition, this
season Ginza’s branch offers limited edition autumn ice cream:
mix of green tea, seasonal fruits and rice.
Tiki Taka ice cream by Sarutahiko
Sarutahiko coffee started 6 years ago and by
now they already have 7 stores in Tokyo. They
opened their new shop in August 29, 2017 together
with Tiki Taka Ice Cream.
The name Tiki Taka comes from owner’s, To-
moyuki Otsuka 大塚 朝之(おおつか ともゆき), love
for football as tiki taka is a style of playing football
and name of one of the famous Japanese football
magazines.
The concept of Tiki Taka ice cream is really re-
freshing as except for classic flavors, the shop serves
unique gelato like Ethiopian Coffee, 3 house blends
and earl grey. And of course they have great coffee
where you can chose what kind of roast profile you
would like using an actual roaring profile map.

PASSAGE COFFEE
Famous PASSAGE COFFEE opened just on March
19th, but already became popular among coffee lovers
in Tokyo as its owner and head barista is 2014 Aeropress
Champion, Shuichi Sasaki. The shop serves different kinds
of coffee from blends to single origin and use different
equipment to prepare it, but of course the special drink
here is AeroPress. The beans are roasted by the owner
himself and they use around 100 kg of beans per months
for their customers. Also you can buy some beans here.
What was handy for us as tourists is that the menu was
also translated into English, which made our stay even
more comfortable.
