“WE PRINT GOOD STUFF ABOUT COFFEE.” FROM THE EDITORS

Welcome to the first issue of 2023. Our theme is Re-year and is dedicated to explor-
ing, rethinking, and regenerating the ever-evolving coffee, tea, and ice cream industry.
Words like “regeneration”, “rethinking”, “reverse”, “re-design” and “re-invention” become
               our guides for this journey.
The Cover Story uncovers re-invention efforts across the coffee chain, from past to
present. It examines the shift from traditional coffee business processes to cutting-edge
technology through examples and conversations with experts in the field. Our Design col-
umn takes an even closer look into the industry, specifically at re-designing and brand
building. As coffee becomes increasingly popular in many parts of the world, we explore
how coffee brands and shops can be transformed to meet their customer’s needs.
In this issue we further explore the journey of Steven Moloney in his mission of
bringing forward new ideas to the world of coffee events, and Peter Bjerg , a creative indi-
vidual, whose understanding of traditional ways has enabled him to find new paths for in-
novation. A Londoner’s guide to cafe hopping is also included, providing an insight into the
vibrant London coffee scene that never fails to amaze. The Opinion column offers a platform
for debate and discussion, with a focus on topics such as regenerative coffee farming and
