Intelligentsia Coffee (www.intelligentsiacoffee.com)

               Intelligentsia now has three cities it calls home: Chicago—a city that is brooding, practical and reluctantly beautiful; Los
          Angeles—a city that views creativity as a birthright, is immensely vast, decidedly impractical and equally messy and marvelous;
          and New York—a city of paradoxes. While we are visiting one in LA., It is a great place for people watching and enjoying the open
          air while sipping on your coffee. There are some people typing away on their MacBooks, others completely immersed in their
          books, or even people with their dogs just chilling outside. I love it! Great music too. The coffee shop has a good vibe. A shot of
          espresso is served with a shot of sparkling water as a chaser. The line of Black Cat espressos - classic, analog and organic - has been
          around nearly 20 years. The resulting espresso boasts flavors of caramel, sweet candy, and citrus, and cuts a direct path to your
          taste buds! I like this place. I also ordered this awesome sesame scone, it was so good! I only wish I had more time to try other
          things on their menu.

               To conclude, the US café tour has come to an end. Did we bring you to all the cafés like we promised in the last issue? From
          my observations, the coffee culture in all the cities were different, however, very strong. In different cafés, we found some things in
          common: always need to ask for the keys if you want to use the toilet, all the cafés will have their signature drinks, most have their own
          roasters, all of the baristas have tattoos and beard (except for females, evidently only tattoos!), and lastly, they all served delicious cof-
          fee with varieties of milk flavors. It was an overwhelming experience for us CTI team in the US. We hope you have enjoyed the café
          tour just as we did, have a good day!
