When we walk into a café for the first time, we feel space atmosphere and smells in the air. We first notice whether
the indoor lighting is bright or dark, then the interior decorations and the main colors. As we walk in, we will also hear
different sounds, for example the water refilling sound from the coffee machine, the sound of milk steaming, the sound
when barista taps their milk jug, the laughs or small talks of customers, soft or loud music playing in the background.
Can this audial and visual experience help us to make a decision to stay even before we have that cup of coffee? Are we
interested in lingering around this space? Whether you want to stay longer or to leave right away? This kind of experience is
totally different from sense of smelling.
hearing and vision are not limited that much
by distance, surely, you can say that hearing and vision are the
long-distance senses!
