WEGA vela vintage
Vela Vintage uses a lever mechanism (ALE model) or
a switch mechanism (EMA model) to capture, in a single
action, the simplicity that is at the heart of the Italian
tradition of authentic espresso. The minimalist design is
inspired by industrial style that brings together steel with
fine wood detailing for the water knob, steam knob, filter
holders and levers. The Vela Vintage’s features are tailored
specifically to the requirements of those who want to
prepare coffee ‘the old-fashioned way’ but with all the ad-
vantages of innovation: the new dispensing unit has been
designed to be easier to use and maintain, with thermal
characteristics that guarantee the best extraction for any
blend of coffee; there is the option to connect an external
cup heater; and the Vela Vintage also incorporates a spring
lever to guarantee the ultimate quality and consistency of
each extraction - and much more besides!
BARSETTO Tripresso CA
In order to add to the joy of being able to have coffee anywhere, the
Italian Coffee brand, Barsetto, will release a new product in its portable
series in July: the Tripresso CA portable Americano coffee machine.
This is a continuation and another layer of innovation upon the previous
generation’s Tripresso ES portable espresso coffee machine.
● Works with K-cup capsules and ground coffee. Enjoy a large cup of
coffee anytime and anywhere, and add to the fun of being out and about.
● With an elegant and neat design, the machine is also easy to carry;
comes with Barsetto’s classic red, white and green colors, and is packed
with Italian style.
● Effortless manual operation: Press slightly approximately 15 times
to complete the brewing process. Also comes with a portable mug so that
it is ready to go once the brewing is complete, while also retaining the
original flavors of the beverage.
PATENTED SCALE TECHNOLOGY now available on the
Strada AV
For the very first time, La Marzocco is introducing
Auto Brew Ratio on a Strada machine: the Strada AV. It is
now possible to customize the espresso shot, controlling
the extraction by volume, mass or a brew ratio on the AV
model. Such proprietary advancement in electronics will
provide a great educational tool when training baristas: the
user will be able to know the precise dose in the cup, pro-
gram the dose on the basis of weight in the cup rather than
volume and visualize the time (in seconds) and weight (in
grams) on the display while brewing. An additional tool
for the barista is pre-setting a brew ratio - the machine
can then read the weight of the dose in the portafilter and
deliver the exact amount of water required for that ratio.
