                                                                                                                                 Welcome to the next issue of Coffee t&i Magazine! In this edition, we are exploring the
                                                                                                                          fascinating world of coffee and its relationship with popularity.
                                                                                                                                 Together, we will look at the role of “popularity” in shaping what we drink and how quick-
                                                                                                                          ly new things become popular. How do these new trends disrupt the existing order of things? We
                                                                                                                          will also investigate the balance between popularity and order as well as discuss how coffee con-
                                                                                                                          tinues to evolve.
                                                                                                                                 In our cover story, we look at how celebrity worship has become a powerful force within
                                                                                                                          the industry, and the role it can play in driving innovation. We examine how World Coffee Events
                                                                                                                          have become integral to promoting specialty coffee trends, we ask whether specialty coffee is a
                                                                                                                          trend or not, and what the implications are for the industry.
                                                                                                                                 In our design column, we explore the incredible work of Chang Sihong and his internet-fa-
