“WE PRINT GOOD STUFF ABOUT COFFEE.” FROM THE EDITORS
Another year is coming to an end, and what a year it has been! We’ve seen so many
changes and had to adapt to new situations. Now, as we look ahead to the next year, we’re
especially excited to present to you the theme of this issue: Youth, the Freedom of Grabbing
Coffee Anytime, and the New Generation.
Although coffee is known as the drink of the world and has become a way of life, it
is undeniable that its main consumer group is still young people, and their demand has led
it to be a smarter consumer experience. But can a more smart consumption experience itself
bring a freer, more comfortable coffee life? With this question in mind, we sorted out the
connection between smart consumption, convenience and quality coffee products and the
specialty coffee industry, as well as the real meaning of consuming specialty coffee, expect-
ing to find a balance between coffee representing a new generation and the real value of
specialty coffee consumption. We ask you to put your thinking cap on for our Cover Story,
where we explore how we can bridge the gap between coffee producers and consumers so
that both understand the value of the product beyond ever-changing trends.
What has to be admitted is there is so much potential in young people, you can find
some incredible young people making waves in the world of coffee, tea, and ice cream al-
ready in this issue. Free spirit and fresh ideas blend together in our Design column, while
