I

To Giapo and Annarosa, both partners in life and business, the traditional ice cream experience is
simply not enough. They believe that ice cream can be so much more than ingredients, flavours,
and churning methods, so they started coming up with new ways to present this treat to the public.

         Transcending

         Ice Cream

If Ice Cream Can Change, Anything Can Change

F or most of us, ice cream is simply a delicious treat, something we

connect with childhood memories, long summers, and happy moments.
If I asked you to close your eyes and think of yourself enjoying an ice
cream, you would likely picture yourself spooning a big scoop of your
favorite flavor into your mouth, or licking a melting ice cream cone on a hot day.
But what if there can be more to this treat than meets the eye? What if ice cream
has the ability to transcend its status as a food, and become something more? These
are exactly the questions that Giapo Grazioli and Annarosa Petrucci were asking,
when they opened Giapo Ice Cream in Auckland, New Zealand. From American ice
cream and Italian gelato, to complex designs and works of art, Giapo Ice Cream has
reinvented the wheel when it comes to this classic dessert.
