F or most Europeans and Americans, the ice cream sandwich is a

popular and well-liked iced dessert. For example, gelato from
Italy is sometimes sold in the form of wafer wrapped and frozen.
The Americans have even declared August 2 every year as “Na-
tional Ice Cream Sandwich Day”, which has been celebrated for 122 years.
This ‘1+1+1’ form of ice cream is still not commonly seen in most of Asia,
but it has recently created a trend in China.
