           Coffee

           Experiences in

           Virtual Reality

A small timeline of VR in coffee

M any science-fiction writers and movie di-

rectors have imagined 2020 to be a very
                      technologically advanced time: a realm
with flying cars, self-tying shoelaces, and,
perhaps, with some high-tech eyewear. And while some
predictions are yet to come true, VR has grown to be, if
not an easy-to-experience thing, but still a relatively
attainable one. The pandemic with all the lockdowns has
shown us that many things could be done online. And
that many segments of the market could be transferred
even into VR: immersive exhibitions, school tutoring,
cinemas, business meetings, and even concerts, to
name a few. But what can the hospitality industry do
in VR? Is there a way for coffee at all? Let’s follow the
coffee journey in virtual reality and talk with a repre-
sentative of Onda Origins, a coffee shop that success-
fully incorporated cutting-edge technologies into its
            business model.
