Separate Categories – Washed Process and Natural/Honey Process
The Best of Auction separated the submitted coffees into two separate cat-
egories. Washed and Natural/Honey-processed, producing a winner for each category.
The aim was to give the different processed coffees fairer recognitions.

Rivera talking about his farm operation. The Two Winners
Finca Santa Rosa won the 1st place of Natural/Honey Process category with
its black-honey pacamara. The farm also has a history of winning 1st place in Cup of
Excellence El Salvador back in 2014 with its honey-processed coffee.
Owner Jorge Raul Rivera is very modern, speaks perfect English. He has a
Degree of Agriculture Science from University of Zamorano in Honduras, and actively
participates in coffee/agriculture related scientific researches with various universities.
