                                                         What can be better than drinking a first cup of coffee early
                                                     in the morning? And why this has such a big influence on us? The
                                                     secret is in grinding of the beans. The freshness, size and quality
                                                     of grind have a significant effect on how a coffee will taste. That
                                                     is why it is important to pick the right grinder for this early morn-
                                                     ing (or any time of the day, really) magical experience.
                                                         The strategic umbrella organization Hemro Group unites the
                                                     coffee grinding expertise of four internationally well-known brands
                                                     Mahlkönig, Ditting, Anfim and HeyCafé. Within the group all
                                                     brands are united by the mutual engagement for the perfect coffee
                                                     preparation. Being today a one-stop-shop for coffee grinding, the
                                                     company provides anything a coffee lover would need: from stand-
                                                     alone grinders for all brewing methods to built-in grinders and
                                                     burrs for fully automatic machines.
                                                         As the world saw the rise of specialty coffee in the early
                                                     2000s, Hemro set out to develop a product that would complement
                                                     the efforts of farmers, roasters and baristas to support them in
                                                     creating new levels of coffee quality. Hemro team evaluated the
                                                     market demands and invested resources in measuring the influence
                                                     of grinding on the taste. Studies showed that ground coffee loses
                                                     app. 60% of its precious aroma already within the first 15 minutes
                                                     after grinding. As a result, the Mahlkönig engineering team came-
                                                     neering team came up with the world’s first on-demand espresso
                                                     grinder, the K60ES.
