World’s Largest Iced Tea by Lipton

To celebrate Lipton’s 125th anniversary, the company has created a 12.5-foot-tall pitcher containing 2,204 gallons of iced
tea to break the Guinness World Records at the Be More Tea Festival at Riverfront Park at Naval Yard in North Charleston, South
Carolina, on October 24, 2015. It took 25 hours and 8 2-by-3-foot bags of Lipton black tea leaves to brew the tea to fill the pitcher
with thousands of pounds of ice to keep the iced tea chilled all day long. The first glass of iced tea was poured out from the pitcher
by North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey and the iced tea was later served to thousands of Lipton’s fans who came to enjoy live
music, Lipton tea-infused foods and drinks and giant-scaled games.
