The process is to use cold water in the extract process.

The result is a coffee concentrate that is often diluted with water
                                                               or milk, or over ice.

brewing methods. By brewing the coffee at lower temperatures,

As revealed earlier that it was discovered for more
Batch Brew Cold Drip than one hundred years ago. Filter coffee has become accepted
world wide. From Germany, to France, to Italy, and later to Asia.

          Batch Brew
Not only drip brew was made in single serve, but also
as batches to suit the demand for filter coffee. Many companies
have found the way to brew many serves spontaneously. As
habitually found in restaurant or office usage. In 1963, Bunn
introduced the first automatic coffee brewer, which connected
a waterline for an automatic water feed. This not only enables
many serves but also eliminates the inconsistency and a much
easier way to replicate the drinks.
Bunn-O-Matic also came out with a different drip-brew
machine. In this type of coffeemaker, the machine uses a holding
tank or boiler pre-filled with water. When the machine is turned
on, all of the water in the holding tank is brought to near boiling
point (approximately 200-207 °F or 93-97 °C). When water is
poured into a top-mounted tray, it descends into a funnel and
tube which delivers the cold water to the bottom of the boiler.
The less-dense hot water in the boiler is displaced out of the tank
and into a tube leading to the spray head, where it drips into a
brew basket containing the ground coffee.
Bravilor Bonamat's Thermal Brewer Aurora brews,
creating batch brew of aromatic beverages. The machine not
only just brew the coffee but also adds in options of pre-wetting
the coffee grounds, pausing brew, and adjusting the temperature
and contact time of the brew. This creates a uniform and custom-
ized batch brew for commercial and home use. With the preset
recipes for each coffee profiles, the batch brew is becoming very
popular. These batch brew coffeemaker technology allows the
choice of brew strength, and delivers brewed coffee rapidly,
usually at the touch of a button.

          Cold Brew/Cold Drip
Cold brew, or cold water extract, refers to the process
of steeping coffee grounds in room temperature or cold water
          for an extended period.
