Cha Panya

Be calm with tea, initiate
wisdom.

Sound of engines on the street and sound of crowded
pedestrian pace are familiar environment to resident around
this area. Our mission for today is, to pursue peaceful and
private tea house located on the verdantly field, it is called
‘Cha-Panya (Wisdom Tea)’. Once we knew the name of the tea
house, the name hits our curiosity, why would it call Cha-Panya,
is the owner name Panya? We must ask him when we get there.
It took us shortly from entrance of Sukhumvit 59 Street, we
found this Cha-Panya tea house as we wished for. It looks like a
modern tea house, not traditional tea house like we thought, the
surrounding environment looks peaceful and isolate from noisy
environment.
Surat Jaitrong, manager of this tea house gave us friend-
ly warm welcome. We wasted no time ask him about why this cessful business executive, yet he manage to spare sometime for
tea house was named Cha-Panya. He told us a story that this tea meditation and Dharma practice. He had an idea to renovate this
house was the place for sitting down, have a cup of tea to calm old house into tea house and meditation room, so people can eas-
down, when your mind is calm, the wisdom will come. So that ily access for free. The location is surrounded with private, quiet
