Exploring Dublin’s Coffee Shops
Welcome back to episode two of Dublin Cafe Hopping. Dublin is such a big city and there are so many wonderful coffee shops,
we couldn’t fit it all in one episode so here it is; my last episode for Ireland coffee trip. I’m so grateful that I get to travel because of
coffee, it leads me to so many wonderful experiences and gaining more knowledge at the same time. If you feel like you have some
cool experiences with cafes, coffee shops from around the world, let us know and we will be more than happy to feature your story in
Coffee T&I magazine.
Today we woke up very early to catch all the coffee
shops before we had to go back to Thailand and most of the shops
are closed on Sunday so we had one day less of cafe hopping. We
started off with Laine, My Love, yes this is the name of a coffee
shop. The cafe is situated on the first floor of an office building
on Talbot Street, just off Connolly Train Station. We saw a lot of
office buildings surrounding with people rushing to somewhere,
I guess it’s because of Monday. We push in the glass door and
asked if they are open yet, they welcomed us inside. The bar
is clean and simple with a small shelf of beans on my right and
Nuova Simonelli WBC edition espresso machine far inside. Look-
ing through the menu, we opted for an Ethiopia filter roasted
by Roasted Brown to share, it was a perfect morning and we
decided to sit outside. There are breakfast and lunch menus but
at the moment we just need coffee which just made our morning.
Barista at Laine, My love brewed Ethiopia with a Fetco brewer,
it was beautiful and sweet, as it cools tasting notes became more
prominent and pleasant with notes of rose water and goji berries.
Laine, My love We are more than ready to hop to our next cafe.
