“WE PRINT GOOD STUFF ABOUT COFFEE.” FROM THE EDITORS

Welcome to the last edition of Coffee t&i Magazine for this year. We’re excited to present a special
issue with a theme that is near and dear to our hearts – “Community.” In a world that often races forward,
it’s essential to pause and celebrate the bonds that tie us together, the communities that nurture us, and
the experiences that enrich our lives. This issue explores the incredible world of coffee, tea, and ice cream
through the lens of community. These beverages and treats have a unique ability to bring people together,
foster connections, and create meaningful spaces for shared experiences.
Our cover story, “The ‘Co’ in Coffee,” is a deep dive into the transformative power of the coffee
community. We’ll explore co-roasting spaces, neighborhood cafes, and coffee competitions, highlighting
the innovation and unity they bring to the specialty coffee sector.
In our “People” section, we’ll introduce you to two remarkable individuals who have dedicated
their lives to coffee. Candy Schibli, Head Roaster and Founder of Southeastern Roastery, embodies the
spirit of community by working with people from different countries, while Paul Sharo’s coffee journey
in Rotterdam has nurtured local coffee culture and international connections.
For our “Cafe Hopping” segment, we travel to South Korea to explore some of Busan’s best coffee
shops, each with a unique character and atmosphere. Our contributor Charles Costello takes you on a
coffee adventure that showcases the diversity of the global coffee community.
The “Origin” section focuses on social responsibility, highlighting the efforts that go into ensuring
