ON THE ROAD
When we are on the road, we have a better understading of history and the present,
physically or spiritually. We are waiting for the unknown. The same is true for the
ever-changing coffee industry. A popular quote about cafes is: “If I'm not in a cafe,
then I’m on my way to one”. As society evolves, there are more ways of drinking coffee
on the road for modern people. Drinking coffee on the road can provide a sense of
comfort, convenience, and sociability for travelers on the go. Each country’s culture
is different, making drinking coffee on the road a lot more interesting. There is a
Chinese saying that says, “motionless, by the earth, I travel eighty thousand li a day”,
so in some sense, we are all on the road, just in different ways.

Coffee in the City
Each city has its own unique and preferred flavor, which is reflected on the menu of
the local cafe. With the rise of internet platforms, you can easily find your favorite
cafes, but there are also some speciality coffee shops that you can only dig out offline.
You can explore the city aimlessly, or you can follow a citywalk guide to create a new
city coffee map. But coffee shops are by no means the only way to enjoy good coffee
on the road in the city, you can do it at home too. Many people have their home coffee
corner, so try going to your friend’s house to enjoy a cup of coffee. As the demand for
coffee increases, some individuals or organizations organize their coffee-making class-
es where you can taste good coffee, make new friends, and learn something new.
