Crafted, Seattle Built

Every SLAYER espresso machine is made in Seattle,
but SLAYER itself has always come from the global
Specialty Coffee community.
At our founding in 2007, the shape of Specialty
Coffee was being rapidly formed by a global community
brought together for the first time in online user forums
like coffeed, alt.coffee and many others. The founders
of SLAYER, themselves baristas, roasters and technicians,
were a huge part of these international communities
sharing knowledge, techniques and dreams.
Coffee has always been about getting together first
and foremost. Coffee as a social institution is what gives
value to coffee as a culinary product. When the coffee
itself is great, it’s even better. When the people who
are making the coffee are passionate about their craft,
it’s better still. SLAYER was founded by members of
this community of passionate coffee makers to make
the machine of our dreams. To make better coffee, but
to also make coffee better.
So yes, every SLAYER is designed + crafted in
Seattle, USA. But like any exceptional coffee, it may
come from one place, but it is the product of many
hands, in many places that make it something you can
enjoy. Our home is our community. It’s where we were
born, it’s where we were given our name, and it’s where
our future comes from.
