Located in the bustling and hustling Ben Thanh Market of Ho Chi Minh City, this café is hidden in an old department building, aptly named The Hidden ElePhant Books & Coffee.
Before you enter the coffee house, you will find quite a few rules along the stairs provided by the owner, as with the famous one “The ElePhant is Hidden because he’s too noisy. Don’t be like him.” We can see inside of the owner he must regard this space as a true hub for book lovers and coffee lovers.

The Hidden ElePhant can be divided into two sections. The main reading room is a silent yet cozy area where you can submerge yourself in books, with an entire wall of book selections. And there is a balcony looking over Bitexco for customers who would like to chat or enjoy the scenery.

If you want a rest hiding from the noises out there, The Hidden ElePhant is truly a place to read with a good joe and a fantastic view of Saigon.
