The 1st edition of SIGEP Asia, the International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato, Pastry, Bakery, Coffee and Tea, will take place in Singapore from 26 to 28 June 2024 and will be held in conjunction with the 5th edition of Restaurant Asia, the International Restaurant, Kitchen & Culinary Equipment & Supplies Exhibition.
These two events will also be co-located with IEG Asia’s recently acquired series of F&B boutique trade shows from Montgomery Events Asia: Speciality Food & Drinks Asia, Speciality Coffee & Tea Asia and Food2Go, respectively targeting both artisanal and gourmet products and producers, as well as specialty tea and coffee. Food2Go is specifically addresses the needs of delivery and take-away for the entire catering and retail sector.
This strategic move reinforces IEG Asia’s commitment to positively contribute to the F&B and Ho.Re.Ca landscape in Singapore and ASEAN markets, marking this series as the only annual “boutique” exhibition in Singapore for the F&B industry. As extraordinary experience to develop new business in ASEAN, it provides a dynamic platform for networking and collaboration through engaging meetings, conferences, seminars, masterclasses and demonstrations, thanks to the Sigep-branded network!
Numerous activities and highlights, such as the significant Singapore National Coffee Championship (SNCC) will be held during the event. SNCC, organised by the Singapore Coffee Association, will feature four competitions: Singapore National Barista Championship, Singapore National Latte Art Championship, Singapore National Brewers Cup, and Singapore Cup Tasters Competition. The national champion will then represent Singapore in the 2025 World Coffee Championship.
Another highlight is the introduction of the Technology & Innovation Pavilion (TIP), as part of IEG Asia’s vision to enhance the visitor experience. In this dedicated pavilion, buyers can explore the latest technological advancements for the Ho.Re.Ca foodservice sector, presenting a wide range of software, hardware and online platforms designed streamline operations, enhance customer experience and optimising business processes.
Together, this cluster of events set the benchmark as a boutique platform to address Singapore’s and ASEAN’s needs in F&B and Ho.Re.Ca foodservice – all under one roof – catering to both industry titans and startups alike.
