GRAPH CAFÉ is best known for its creative drinks in local Chiang Mai, which is founded by a shutterbug couple. Their specialty black charcoal coffee is highly Instagrammable and delightful to drinkers. The branch in One Nimman is in a dark industrial style, different from the vintage style of the first store in the old town. Monochrome is made of espresso, milk, vanilla juice, and edible grade charcoal. You can enjoy the sweetness of vanilla at the first sip, followed by the aroma of milk and an obvious grainy taste of black charcoal.

Khao Soi Khun Yai may be the best Khao Soi (Northern-Thai Curry Noodle) in town. The family business is run by three generations and only serves upon orders. It is open from 10am to 2pm, and is closed on Sundays. De- spite the hot weather, the shop is always packed with local and overseas customers. Beef, pork, and chicken are the only three curry toppings. The crispy noodles and the flavorful curry soup with sweet coconut fra- grance are just too good to miss!

The Ploen Rudee Night Market

All the items at the Ploen Rudee Night Market are made from recycled materials. Abandoned metal buckets and wooden boxes now become useful, serving as unique tables. The creative yet thoughtful design attracts many young folks and western tourists. Just sit on the haystacks made of dry straw, enjoy cool breezes of the night and performances by the live band.
